Return and Refund Policy

Introduction

At Sundarban Mondal Travels, we believe in clear, simple, and transparent rules so our guests can book tours with confidence. This policy applies to all bookings made through our office, WhatsApp, phone calls, website, or in-person.

Cancellation by Guests

  • Once a booking is confirmed with advance payment, refunds are not possible.

  • This is because we reserve hotel rooms, boats, and other arrangements in advance.

  • Guests may request to reschedule their tour to another available date by consulting directly with the owner.

  • Cancellations made 1 day before or on the same day of the tour will be treated as a full cancellation with no refund.

Cancellation by Sundarban Mondal Travels

  • In rare cases of cyclones, floods, strikes, or government restrictions, tours may be rescheduled.

  • We do not provide refunds, but we always ensure tours are shifted to a suitable future date.

  • Such cancellations are very rare due to our professional planning and safety measures.

Advance Payment Policy

  • A minimum ₹1000 per person advance payment is required to confirm a booking.

  • This amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • However, the advance will be adjusted if the guest chooses to reschedule the tour.

No-Show Policy

  • If a guest fails to arrive at the reporting location (Canning/Godkhali) at the scheduled time, it will be treated as a no-show.

  • In such cases, the booking will be considered cancelled automatically with no refund.

Force Majeure (Uncontrollable Events)

  • Natural calamities like cyclones, floods, or heavy rains, as well as government restrictions, may affect tours.

  • In such cases, tours will be rescheduled to another date, but refunds will not apply.

Refund Processing Timeline

  • As per our policy, refunds are generally not provided once booking is confirmed.

  • In very special circumstances (if agreed by management), refunds may take 7–10 working days and will be processed only through the same payment method used for booking.
